Party Celebrates Cary Park's Inclusivity

Celebrate a park for kids with all abilities this Sunday, June 3, from 3-5 p.m. at the Kids Together Playground in Marla Dorrel Park, 111 Thurston Drive. Special activities include a parade through the park led by KATAL, the Kids Together dragon mascot, a reading of the Kids Together story in the style of Dr. Seuss, and the making of fruit slushies, along with other refreshments. Applying the principles of Universal Design, the Kids Together Playground at Marla Dorel Park boasts winding paved paths, chair and traditional-style swings, and fully accessible facilities.
